The performing arts, such as marching bands, are the spirit of any local high school. They are there in the stands or on the field chanting and playing their hearts out celebrating their team, and the school, and entertaining the crowd at halftime. Rain, snow, cold, or in the sweltering heat – they are there.

Not many people realize the costs associated with being a part of the performing arts. The travel, the costumes, the set designs, and the countless hours from instructors all add up.

Each season, the kids all pay to participate in each of the performing arts ensembles. These costs are, in some cases, too much to bear for the families and they will seek help from the Band Board of Directors. Not everyone can be helped… and sometimes the help is just not enough.

We are asking local businesses to support our kids and allow them to achieve their goals of being part of something bigger at their school. 100% of your donation will be allocated to a member of a CAPE ensemble who has requested financial help but also meets academic and social standards.

Any amount helps… but for donations of $500 the CAPE will:

• Provide a press release worthy of local submission.
• A special Social Media Shout-out
• And a very special thank you certificate to hang on your wall.

For donations of $1,500 the CAPE will:

• Provide all of the above – plus
• One 8×8 wall tile – permanently displayed inside the school
• Given a subscription to “Flags Across Cleveland”. An American Flag will be proudly displayed in front of your office, home, or business on:
  • Patriot Day (9/11)
  • Veterans Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
